Creating files

Free Text Editor has three ways to initiate the creation of a new file.

1. Select the New button within the Google Drive™
2. Click the New File card on the app’s home page
3. Use the File -> New menu on the app’s editor page

New file configuration

A window will appear with these options.

1. Select from over 60 file formats
2. Choose the drive location
3. Enter a file name
4. Optionally define a passphrase for encryption
